Module 9 - Working with Adults

Module 11 - Administration

In this module you’ll learn best practice on how to manage administrative tasks at Scouts, and what your responsibilities are towards Data Protection Act/GDPR, record keeping, finances and insurance requirements. |
District Ceilidh & Social 2025

Where: The Osprey Suite, Commodore Inn, Helensburgh
We invite all our adult volunteers within Dunbartonshire to dance the night away, socialise and connect with fellow volunteers, or simply unwind with delicious hot food and a fully stocked bar. Join us for just £10 per person. This ticket price includes not only the fantastic live music but also the delicious hot food. Drinks available to purchase. We truly appreciate all that you do for scouting and invite you to join us for a night of fun, laughter, dancing and socialising to recognise all of the hard work that has been done on behalf of our Groups and District. |
Meeting the Challenges

Meeting the Challenges training covers topics such as how to tackle difficult reviews, disputes, suspension, complaints and managing safeguarding incidents.
This course will be delivered via Zoom on 2nd March 2025 from 10am to 4pm.
The cost of the training is £7.

Module 19 - International

In this module you’ll learn about world Scouting and international Scout events. You’ll also learn about the benefits of international activities to young people, and how to include international aspects in your programme. |

Achieving Growth

Achieving Growth training covers topics such as growth, development planning and the recruitment and retention of young people and adult volunteers.
Please ensure that the relevant Independent Learning is complete before coming on the course.
